Lease Operators are tasked with increasing production of oil and gas while cutting costs to all assigned leases. This position is responsible for maintaining company property, equipment, and production in compliance with the company's high well site standards. The Lease Operator must maintain good working relations with all parties involved and meet or exceed all company, industry, safety, ethical, and environmental standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Observe and follow all safety policies, including wearing and maintaining all required PPE.
  • Maintain all issued equipment in clean and proper working condition (computer, tools, etc.).
  • Gauge all oil and water tank levels.
  • Read and record all needed meter readings.
  • Circulate tank bottoms as needed.
  • Maintain all circulating and transfer equipment in proper working condition.
  • Maintain Heater, Separator, water knock outs, and other pressure vessels to company standards.
  • Maintain all pumping units, guards, and well heads to company standards.
  • Inspect Surface equipment daily for defects, leaks, neatness, and damage.
  • Make arrangements for oil and water hauling without delay.
  • Shake out each load of oil and fill out tolerance tickets.
  • Report daily well tests each day before leaving the field.
  • Enter all data into company computer in a proper and timely manner.
  • Maintain tubing and casing pressures at optimum performance pressures (replacing balls, seats, and chokes as needed).
  • Monitor and set runtime on pumping units for optimum well performance (timers, if equipped).
  • Maintain any compressors, artificial lift, gas lift, submersible pumps, flowing, injection, or rod pump units to company standards.
  • Communicate between regular and relief pumpers on rotations in written form.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year lease operator experience.
  • Must be available to work between 7am-3pm, occasional overtime will also be required.
  • Must demonstrate teamwork and professionalism internally with Endeavor and externally to vendors.
  • Must be able to pass Endeavor Fit Duty Test.
