Shift: 12-hour Day Shift (7 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Location: Alexandria, VA

Pay: We offer competitive pay for LPN Supervisors ranging from $35-$40 per hour

Job Summary

As the LPN Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for monitoring the clinical and holistic health of the residents and delivering care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, while maintaining the standards of professional nursing. You will provide person-centered care in collaboration with care partners and interdisciplinary teams.

Job Duties

* Monitors care delivery on Health Care Center and Assisted Living (documentation, care delivery services, and clinical environment) to maintain compliance with health department regulations. Recognizes deficiencies and escalates to Director of Nursing to collaborate and assist with correction.
* Assign tasks to Care Partners in accordance with care plans and individual service plans.
* Assist the Director of Nursing in disciplinary problems and performance appraisal goal setting.
* Encourages feedback from, maintains relations with, and monitors commitment of providing highest quality service to customers including residents, internal customers, and partners/suppliers.
* Coordinate staffing for assigned schedules and assist in finding replacement for call offs.

Job Requirements

* Must be a graduate of an approved RN or LPN program.
* Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact state of residence.
* Must have a minimum of two years of nursing supervisory experience.
* Must have current CPR certification.
