Senior Product Manager, Pos We'd love for you to join as a Sr Product Manager at Invenco by GVR, a Vontier operating company. The Senior Product Manager, POS (point-of-sales) will be responsible for product planning and execution, including but not limited to assessing customer needs, analyzing market trends, and acting on customers' behalf to prioritize product requirements. The Product Manager will serve as the contextual expert defining the product vision, working collaboratively with engineering, sales, marketing, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered, and revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This position reports to the Senior Director of Product Management and is open to a remote location in the United States, following Eastern or Central Time Zone working hours. What You Will Do + Engage with customers and conduct market research to identify new features and opportunities for product differentiation and innovation + Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our POS and SCO (self-checkout) software products + Identify additional customer needs for in-store experiences within the fuel & convenience retail space and determine how to deliver them build, buy, partner + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support to deliver high-quality products that meet market needs + Prioritize product backlog and manage the lifecycle of new product features from conception to launch + Analyze performance metrics and use data-driven insights to drive product improvements + Act as a product evangelist, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and with key clients + Create business cases for new products/features + Travel to meet with customers, stakeholders, and to gather market insights About Your Experience + 5+ years of product management experience in the software industry, with a strong preference for candidates with POS software experience in the convenience and retail fuel sector. + Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle + Strong technical background with an understanding of software development and web technologies + Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills + Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience + Experience in retail a plus or convenience and fuel retail a plus + Be willing to travel as needed, up to 30% of the time The base compensation range for this position is $147,290 to $227,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
