SUMMARY
Under supervision performs work that is varied and may be somewhat technical in nature but involves limited responsibility for final decisions, some evaluation, originality or ingenuity required, know and applies fundamental concepts and procedures, may check work or support or earlier levels of technical or staff workers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides technical support in the event of production equipment malfunction at multiple plant locations.
  • Required to be on-call 24 hours/7 days a week, with possibility of working Saturdays/Sundays/holidays. Production preparation support.
  • Equipment improvement and modification support.
  • Communicates with maintenance staff from each plant, and provides expertise on equipment.
  • Complete machine quality confirmation records and other required documentation at each facility
  • Solves complex issues with minimal supervision
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Engineering or related field ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Math including Computer Science)
  • Must be able to lift tire assembly up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, crawl, and fit in to tight spaces as needed
  • Bilingual in Japanese and have a complete understanding of Japanese culture
  • Must be proficient with MS Office, CAD(Better), PLC(Better)
