Environmental Specialist, Clarion, PA Office

Job Summary:

The EADS Group, Inc., a full-service, multi-disciplined engineering firm, is actively seeking a full-time Environmental Specialist at our office located in Clarion, PA.

Applicants must have a
  • BS degree in Environmental Science or related field,
  • good written and verbal communication skills, willingness and ability to do fieldwork.
  • Certifications/experience relating to wetland delineation, permitting, environmental site assessment and CADD or GIS software is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
  • water sampling,
  • Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments,
  • mine permitting,
  • wetland delineations,
  • stream surveys,
  • deed research and
  • file reviews, stream
  • wetland mitigation design,
  • proposal preparation,
  • NEPA document preparation.
Other duties may include:
  • pre-blast home survey inspections,
  • E&S plans,
  • General Permits,
  • soil and water sampling,
  • health and safety plans,
  • surveying.
