Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst:
  • Financial Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation of financial statements from multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining significant discrepancies.

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related
  • CPA designation (+)
  • Bilingual is a must (Spanish/English)
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience
  • Experience in financial consolidation and data analytics
  • Strong technical background
