As a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Platform team, you will provide technical solutions to other members of the technical staff on special projects and may function in a project leadership role. You will need to interface with other organizations on new product updates to ensure a smooth transition of the product into the manufacturing cycle. This means working with a global, cross-functional team utilizing excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: •Successfully work and give input as part of a multidisciplinary project team, responsible for driving the electrical aspects of the project. •Responsible for the decisions on sensors, PLC's, control devices and other electrical components. •Design electrical drawings and specifications to meet ASM quality and innovative standards.•Provide clear and articulate clarification regarding the logic and decision making process used when presenting or discussing in technical meetings. •Create electrical documentation during the design phase and ensure it meets ASM standards. •Participate in taskforce on technical escalations that are not solved by lower lines of support; recognize trends and make improvements to prevent future issues. Education & Experience •Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or PhD.•Strong analytical ability; able to visualize, conceptualize, and solve problems.•Ability to lead conceptual, innovative design; from starting phase.•Independent thinking, able to act as a sparring partner, and a team player. •Experience with PLC preferredAt ASM we are committed to supporting our people, enabling them to develop their talents and perform at their best.
