Palm Aire Country Club is nestled within the Palm Aire Community sitting on the Manatee/Sarasota corridor in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. We are a private member owned Country Club with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where members consider themselves part of the Palm Aire Family.

Central to our club are our two, equally outstanding yet uniquely diverse, 18-hole golf courses. Today the club has exceptionally active golf, tennis, padel and pickleball programs as well as the amenities of fine and casual dining with a robust entertainment schedule.

Our superior Country Club is one of the largest in the greater Sarasota area. Located just minutes from downtown Sarasota, the regions beautiful gulf beaches and virtually adjacent to the Mall at University Town Center, Palm Aire Country Club provides a perfect location for living the good life.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated full-time and part-time waitstaff to join our team. As a member of our waitstaff, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding service to our members and their guests. You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and upscale atmosphere while building valuable skills in hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive and personalized service to members and guests.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service.
• Handle payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for events.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Food Safety Certification-we can also provide certification on site.
• Of legal age to serve alcohol- Alcohol Beverage Certificate preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work fast, effectively and stay focused under pressure
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
