Operation SpecialistJob Summary: The Operation Specialist will assist the organization in validating diagnosis codes billed on client claims, reconciling electronic capture of those diagnosis codes from the provider EHR or Practice Management system. This position will require you to manage numerous client account data sets across multiple date ranges at once. The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail, deep organizational skills, and be able to stay abreast of all database updates, and other day-to-day responsibilities as assigned. The Operation Specialist must also possess excellent communication skills to answer questions for internal stakeholders, solve billing-reconciliation issues, and keep the organization's leadership team updated with relevant billing information.Key Responsibilities / Duties: Accessing and navigating Electronic Health Records billing encounter detailEntering and reconciling information in relevant databasesScanning through multiple sources of data to identify pertinent information to be extracted and recorded.Address and solve stakeholder questions and issues.Securely handle client data and patient health information Correct errors and organize the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing of detailed data.Inform relevant parties regarding errors encountered and potential patterns emerging.Research, record findings, and communicate effectively with Director of Operations to achieve optimum performance.Assist with billing audit-related tasks.Contribute to team results by meeting individually assigned goals and deadlines.Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate thedepartment's ability to meet its goals and objectives.Perform other duties as assigned to support Main Street Health's Mission, Vision, and ValuesExperience & Education: High school diploma or equivalent1+ years' experience in a relevant fieldExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detail.Knowledge of MS Office Products including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.A sense of urgency and quality toward completion of dutiesAbility to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.Proficient touch-typing skillsMaintain patient and client confidentiality, always abiding by Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regarding Patient Health Information (PHI)Excellent organization and time management skills Strong team playerAbility to learn quickly, build and maintain long term relationships and work with moderate to minimal supervision.Location: Nashville, TNPhysical Demands / Working Conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment. Requires sitting for long periods of time. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a telephone, keyboard, calculator, and other office equipment. Work is often performed in stressful situations.
