Responsibilities:
  • Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.
  • Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.
  • Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
  • Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
  • Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
  • Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
  • Ensures safety of all associates and quality of product.
  • Ensures new manufacturing processes and process improvements meet Manufacturing Unit objectives.
  • Ensures equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyzes current state of equipment efficiency to drive OEE improvement and sustainability.
  • Levels of Supervision: None, Small Team (1-~10), Medium Team (~10-20) or Large Team (?20).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED: Required
  • Associates Degree: Preferred
  • BA/BS Degree - Preferred Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • In lieu of BA/BS degree, 3-5 years of Technical or Manufacturing experience required.
  • 2 years medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 3 years people leading experience preferred.
  • Effective Oral/written Communication - Proficient.
  • Ability to work as part of a team / Teambuilding - Proficient.
  • Independent thinking / Self Driven - Proficient.
  • Decision Making Ability - Proficient.
  • Machine Design Proficient.
