Financial Analyst II

Overview
The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for validating the accuracy of expenses processed through the LTG team, including expense allocations to corporate and divisions. This role will work with other team members in providing financial analysis and reports
across multiple teams within Lennar .
Responsibilities
Prepare chargeback allocations and monthly reporting for telecom, advertising, and user inventory (NAC) expense accounts.
Assist with daily balancing of P&L and prepaid expense accounts.
Assist with capital expense project categorizations with support of the PMO and procurement teams.
Work within Metaviewer and other in-house tools to assist with PO and invoice review for cost code coding accuracy.
Work with IT application\product owners to investigate charges when needed.
Support and advise the Sourcing and Vendor Management team in identifying accounting categorization
within the
procurement process.
Identify when needed and create journal entries to record corrections.
Assist with the monthly P&L close for all IT expense cost centers.
Assist with monthly Actual vs Budget reporting and analysis.
Assist with forecast modeling.
Assist with other projects as required.
Discreet handling of confidential information including salaries and contract terms.
Identify gaps and or redundancies in processes and initiate improvements in alignment with the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent experience.
3+ Years of accounting and finance experience in some or all the above areas.
Intermediate\Advanced Excel Skills.
Ability to work independently, and as a team to complete project assignments.
Ability to multitask, excellent communication, and critical thinking skills.
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Billing Analyst to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines.
PC Skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP Systems.
General knowledge of AP\AR functions.
Must have financial data analytical skills and experience in preparing high level reports from raw data.
Strong project management skills are essential as well as a passion for solving business problems using technological solutions.
Must be able to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of management.
Must be a team player and be able to work independently and make decisions when needed.
Must be innovative, creative, and detailed oriented.
