Overview:

The Administrative Specialist will leverage thorough knowledge of collections and vast experience working in financial institutions to provide clerical administration to the Collections Department.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for change of term documentation and submitting documents over to a manager for approval
  • Responsible for loan modifications, requesting all necessary documentation and sending to underwriting for approval
  • Responsible for DocuSign on all Collections skip a pay documentation
  • Following up on the process of change of terms/loan modification with members and other departments to ensure all proper documentation is received, and process is completed
  • Update all information on spreadsheets to update status of the application/process
  • Maintaining file maintenance forms for collectors including monetary forms, loan file, providing analysis on change of terms and loan modifications
  • Maintenance forms, primary contact information change forms
  • Assist with department-related emails as needed
  • assist with department team messages as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum two years of collections experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in the financial services industry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Highly collaborative and advanced ability to communicate effectively with peers and partners
  • Loan operations experience
  • Excel knowledge
