Senior Accountant

LHH is working with a manufacturing company that focuses on high-end goods and products. This company is adding a new Senior Accountant to their team. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years experience in the manufacturing space.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Handle cash receipts and perform cash forecasting.
  • Maintain the General Ledger and oversee fixed assets.
  • Execute month and year-end closing procedures.
  • Conduct check runs and monitor financial transactions.
  • Analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements.
  • Establish and enforce accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance systems and procedures.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills in MS Office, including Pivot Tables and VLookUp, and proficiency in Access.
  • Analyze data from Microsoft Business Central (NAV) and Power BI reports.
  • Coordinate foreign currency payments and ensure accurate processing in the system.
  • Delegate projects and provide guidance to staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Work towards achieving financial accounting objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Access, Pivot Tables, and VLookUp.
  • Experience in Cost Accounting is advantageous.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Collaborative team player with a dependable work ethic.
