The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring success across all key functions of third-party warehousing and logistics operations. This role will work closely with the VP of Supply Chain & Logistics to develop and execute distribution strategies and KPI's for wholesale, retail, and DTC channels.

This role will be based out of our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office at least two days a week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing and improving 3PL warehouse performance by establishing stronger processes, KPI's, and performance standards
  • Inventory Management across all warehouse locations, including inventory transfer management
  • Oversee (and initially perform) Wholesale Order fulfillment, including EDI and ASN connection build-out
    • Provide support and improve line of sight of sales fulfillment for sales team
  • Improving On Time Delivery and Total Order Fulfillment success rates
  • Reduce OOS occurrences at Retail Scoop Shops
  • Build strong processes and carrier relationships to minimize accessorial freight charges
  • Manage and meet budget for all Logistics Costs
  • Collaborate with VP of Supply Chain and Logistics to:
    • Build annual Logistics Budgets
    • Ad Hoc distribution and logistics initiatives
    • Establish new 3PL warehouses and logistics systems for new and existing Retail (scoop shop) markets
    • Onboard new 3PL warehouses as necessary
    • Build internal logistics team and improve internal processes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors Degree preferred in Supply Chain-related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a Logistics or Distribution focused role, frozen distribution experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in food or beverage manufacturing
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Travels to their assigned retail markets when necessary

Salary Range

$100,000-$130,000 USD
