Our mission is to support individuals on their journey to recovery by offering compassionate and evidence-based care. We are seeking a licensed therapist with a specialization in substance abuse to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist with a Substance Abuse license to provide therapy and support to individuals struggling with addiction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance abuse treatment and a commitment to helping clients achieve lasting recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with substance abuse issues.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the severity of substance abuse and appropriate treatment methods.
- Educate clients and their families about addiction, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in substance abuse treatment.
- Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) with a valid Substance Abuse license.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in substance abuse counseling.
- Strong understanding of addiction and recovery processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
