Manager, Tax, BrightLine

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Liaise with development, internal management, and other departments as necessary.
  • Onboard clients including create client mappings that produce a desired tax outcome, test run data sets, and ensure any validations and exceptions that arise are cleared.
  • Monitor live clients for data transmission breaks and work with a team of developers to remedy breaks when they occur.
  • The candidate will also oversee a small team who will support them in this role.

What You Will Bring:

  • Above-average proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of data enrichment and data normalization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with a team of non-tax professional developers.
  • Ability to work professional service firm hours.
  • The candidate will have 7+ years of securities tax background in either Partnership Taxation or Mutual Fund Taxation
  • 7+ years of prior securities partnership tax experience
  • Good understanding of the theory & mechanics of securities taxation.
  • Must have previous managerial experience
