Job Skills / Requirements We are currently hiring for an Armed Security Officer position in the New York City location. Candidates must have NY Armed Registration. ***NOTE: ALL Candidates need to have a Unrestricted Carry License. This post does require previous Corrections or NYPD Law Enforcement experience is required. Qualified retired law enforcement officers must carry the photographic identification issued by the agency for which they were employed as well as the firearm certification for the firearm they intend to carry. Strong communication skills are a must. Candidate has to be able to stand for long periods of time. The starting rate of pay will be $37.50/hour. A Security Officer must perform duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
