Jovie of Tacoma & Renton is hiring a part-time infant nanny for a family in Renton.

We are looking for a responsible and compassionate newborn caregiver to work the night shift. This role involves being in the same room as the baby throughout the night and managing all aspects of newborn care, including feeding, diaper changes, and cleaning bottles. Your role will focus solely on the baby's needs, limited sleeping during your shift is permitted as you will need to be able to care for infant. Care is focused exclusively on the newborn; no care needed for the toddler in the household.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10pm-6am

Start Date: October 7th, 2024- March 1st, 2025

Location: Renton, WA

Day-to-Day:

  • Provide attentive care for the newborn during the night shift, including feedings, diaper changes, and comforting.
  • Follow a strict schedule provided by the parents to ensure consistency and routine.
  • Clean and sterilize baby bottles and other feeding equipment.
  • Assist with sleep training around the 5-month mark as guided by the parents.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and be receptive to constructive feedback.
  • Remain awake and attentive throughout the shift-sleeping during working hours will be limited based on babies wake schedule.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-years experience with infants (bottle feeding, diapering, nap routines)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A valid license with clean driving records and a reliable vehicle
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Background Screening

  • Must be able to stay attentive during the entire shift.
Compensation: $22-23/hour
