Overview

The

Rebuild Specialist

will collaborate with PSSR's and G2 Manager to inspect equipment and properly quote machine rebuilds.

Responsibilities

Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC.
Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.
Collaborate with the PSSR's and G2 manager to properly quote machine rebuilds.
Ensure that all updates to the machine and components are to the latest CAT spec when quoting (Service Letters and TIB's)
Attend customer meetings with PSSR's to inspect machines that qualify for a rebuild.
Quote machine based on customer needs and requirements.
Update MMRC manager and PSSR on quote status.
Quote additional work found during machine rebuild and work closely with supervisors to create weekly customer presentations.
Work with Standard Jobs Coordinator to create standard jobs where needed.
Travel to branches as needed to follow up on machine progress.
Prepares parts requisitions, timecards, part returns, accurate and complete service reports and other necessary reports and paperwork as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years of comprehensive

background in heavy equipment component function, troubleshooting, and repair.
CAT applicable, SIS, ServiceLink Application required.
Experience with Microsoft office suite.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment, with rapidly changing priorities and demands.
Able to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and proper repair procedures required.
Organizational and time management skills required.
Must have the ability to set and keep priorities and professionally handle the stress associated with dealing with a fast-paced industry and deadlines.
Must be a Team-player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
High degree of interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral communication skills is required.
Must possess the personal discipline to establish the proper image as a representative of Blanchard with the ability to meet and work with the customer in a professional manner.
Working Conditions

The physical environment requires the employee to work primarily inside (non-climate controlled) throughout the day.
Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.
Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
Physical use of a broad variety of tools and machines to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Must be able to lift varied weights.
Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.
Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
