The Financial Analyst will prepare various governmental and non-government reports, proposals, budgets, analysis, and special projects.

This is a hybrid position with a 9/80 work schedule.

Responsibilities

Completes Medicare FQHC cost reconciliations and annual reports for U.S. Census Bureau Assists in the financial and demographics portion in the preparation of the annual Uniform Data System UDS Participates in UDS training sessions to maintain knowledge of changes in the report from year to year Completes financial section of annual state scope-of-service changes for Neighborhood sites Manages and maintains Affiliate Partners Program (APP) and Institute of Health’s (IH) fiscal reporting, including creating, reviewing, and submitting partners’ invoices, payments reconciliation, and capitation rosters Prepares monthly and quarterly financial statements for other services including Acupuncture, Behavioral Health, Chiropractic, Enhanced Care Management, Podiatry, Mobile Dental Services, Project Dulce, APP, and IH Creates robust reports and special analysis for specialty services, APP, and IH Oversees and manages the residency program’s financial section Supports finance department leadership by building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions based on current business and compliance needs by using reporting tools, such as SQL and Power BI Participates in monthly financial statement reviews and annual audits Stays informed of organization activities and promotes Neighborhoods mission and goals Contributes to the success of the organization by participating in quality improvement activities Maintains professional working relationships with all levels of staff, clients, and the public Cooperates in accomplishing department goals and objectives

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required Two years’ accounting experience required Experience working for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and nonprofit organizations preferred. Experience using Great Plains accounting software preferred

Additional Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior composition, typing and proofreading skills Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Knowledgeable about and experience with GAAP, financial analysis and reporting, capitation, and budgeting Knowledgeable about and experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word/Excel and accounting software Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent planning and organizational ability Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently Ability to work with highly confidential information in a professional and ethical manner

Pay range: $33.89 - $41.42 per hour, depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
