Overview:

Database Marketing Specialist

It is the responsibility of the Database Marketing Specialist to oversee in the creation and management of direct marketing campaigns and email marketing initiatives; managing deadlines; and communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders. Position also responds to guest inquiries about offers, conducts property training on marketing systems and programs. Finally, incumbent will proof-read all direct marketing offers and participates in improving data quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute direct mail and email marketing campaigns, including email blasts and configuring trigger-based programs.

  • Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximize marketing campaign building efficiencies and increase production.

  • Prepare data list and marketing campaign builds for approval, including those for implementation of programs.

  • Maintain all direct marketing projects start to finish, including initiating job-starter, trafficking, managing timelines.

  • Develop and test new tools related to campaign execution along with developing the process workflow around all campaigns by acting as a project manager.

  • Respond to guest inquiries about mail offers.

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Proof-read and approve mail as well as participating in improving quality of data.

  • Safeguard the confidential information of all employee, department and company records.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate

  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications required

  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license
