Position Overview:
As a Plumbing Technician with Nandail Property Management, your role will involve diagnosing, installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems within multi-family residential properties. Your expertise in various piping materials and leak detection will be essential. You will also interpret blueprints, manage materials for projects, and execute environmentally-friendly installations while keeping accurate records. Key Responsibilities:
- Must be experienced in Septic Tank Work
- Diagnose, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in multi-family properties.
- Work with various piping materials, such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX for repairs.
- Identify and fix leaks within buildings, including underground and external areas.
- Perform drain cleaning and resolve sewage backup issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications related to plumbing systems.
- Determine material requirements for both new projects and ongoing maintenance.
- Follow building codes, regulations, and blueprints to guide work procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of work assignments and tasks completed.
- Repair, replace, or remove plumbing system components as necessary.
- Install eco-friendly plumbing fixtures like faucet flow restrictors and tankless water heaters.
- Use specialized equipment and techniques for tasks like welding small pipes and working with unique piping systems.
- Perform other plumbing-related duties as needed.
- Must have experience in detecting and repairing leaks and breaks.
- Experience in multi-family property maintenance or a similar field.
- Relevant certifications are an asset but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not mandatory.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Must be flexible, reliable, and a team player.
- Ability to travel as needed for the role.
- A valid and current driver's license is required.
- Must have a personal vehicle and necessary tools.
- Material costs will be covered.
- Gas expenses will be reimbursed.
- Bi-weekly payments.
