Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Description:

LHH is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst in Rosemont, Illinois. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making within the construction industry. You will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting, as well as identify areas for improvement and efficiency within our financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis:
  • detailed financial analysis of construction projects, including cost projections, budget variances, and profitability assessments.
  • financial statements, cash flow, and revenue projections to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • and Forecasting:
  • in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for construction projects and company-wide financial performance.
  • actual financial performance against budgeted targets and provide explanations for variances.
  • with project managers and department heads to ensure accurate and timely budget updates.

  • and distribute financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the construction industry or related field.
  • experience in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial audiences.
