Job Description

Job Summary: The Applications Programmer/Developer oversees the development or modification of the application programs - particularly our QLIK program. Designs procedures to solve simple to complex application programming problems, taking computer equipment and application capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results into consideration. This position is much more than "just technical programming" and the employee must be willing to understand, grasp, and apply technical and functional concepts of the business and business systems. The programmer/developer is a highly valued member of the Applications Team and is expected to contribute, act with initiative, and assist others on the team - even if outside your current skill set.
Major Responsibilities/Activities: Collaborate with internal and external personnel - customers and colleagues. Under guidance from other internal and external developers, become an expert on our application products. The Programmer/Developer may be given additional assignments that could require utilizing any number of resources and skillsets to achieve task objectives - I.E. SAP SD, MM, PP. While such projects could require skills or resources outside of the normal scope of the position(s) such assignments are to be expected and are not considered outside the scope of this position's responsibilities. This person will design, develop and produce standard and ad hoc reports and correspondence.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

• Requisite knowledge of QLIK programming languages to satisfactorily complete work assignments in a reasonable time frame is required.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (Java, C#, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience creating and deploying analytics using business intelligence tools, including data visualization and developing reports/dashboards.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as SQL, Qlik, SSRS, Excel Power Query, and Power BI.
• Understand data modeling, data schemas, and ETL.
• SOAP & REST API integration
• Experience utilizing MuleSoft Anypoint is a plus.
• Knowledge of ABAP is highly prized.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
• Experience understanding, Business processing, analyzing, visualizing, and communicating to technical and non-technical audiences to show business value and impact by understanding the goal and your audience.
• Willingness to "go the extra mile", do what it takes, and above all have and show initiative.
• Any combination of degree work, certification completions, and practical job experience is acceptable. Being willing and showing enthusiasm for learning programming languages (through education and on-the-job experience) is required.
• Have experience with a tier 1 enterprise resource planning (ERP) software package such as Oracle, JD Edwards, or SAP. Hrmann LLC manages operations with SAP; therefore, experience with this package is highly preferred.
• Have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
• Have the ability to work flexible hours when required to complete necessary job assignments. After 6 months this position can be a hybrid position - depending upon assessment.
