Job Description STS Aerospacein Laconia, NH is searching for aFabrication Mechanicto join the team.This position is responsible for joining metal components together with a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, fabrications, tube assemblies and/or plant equipment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary. Duties & Responsibilities Welds and fabricates flexible and rigid tube assemblies composed of a variety of materials using manual and automatic arc welding processes. Assesses welds for conformance to visual and dimensional requirements. Interprets specifications, limitations, and intent. Communicates results and makes reports. Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding. Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time. Other duties as assigned The Individual Education, Certifications, Licenses, & RegistrationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
