Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Supervisor to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing personnel in a patient care unit. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing personnel to ensure high-quality patient care. Verify that patients' needs are met and evaluate unit nursing care and performance. Participate in planning work and coordinating activities with other patient care units and related departments. Plan and organize training for unit staff members and participate in guidance and educational programs. Coordinate and direct prompt, efficient patient flow through the patient care delivery services of the hospital. Provide competent leadership and direction for all hospital codes and/or crisis management. Serve as a clinical resource person in delivery and supervision of direct and indirect care processes. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and supervisor experience in an acute care hospital. Current Texas State RN license. CPR (American Heart Association) certification. ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer date. NIHSS certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer date. De-escalation training required within 90 days of hire/transfer date.
