Process Safety Engineers needed in Houston Texas The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented chemical engineering graduates with a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the finer aspects of process safety and risk management, and to further develop your engineering skills while executing projects for the world largest production companies.

salary: $30 - 35 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and designing pressure relief systems for petrochemical and chemical industries

  • Generate reports on iPRISM

  • Developing detailed safety and risk management design documentation

  • Perform detailed Relief Valve analysis on SuperChems software and mitigate to overcome safety issues

  • Providing support for on-going safety and risk management case work including LNG hazard analysis, HAZOP support, and litigation services

  • Calculate pressure drops using isometrics and size pressure safety valve (PSV) inlet and outlets
