Today, the company is dedicated to meet and exceed the customers' expectations and create a unique experience to our customers with the explosion of Japanese food and culture in America.BenefitsAll paid Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance for employees and their dependentsLife Insurance and 401k Plan with company matchLocation: Elk Grove Village, ILHours: M-F: 8AM - 5PMPay range: $22/h+ (DOE)Essential Job Functions Complete door to door deliveries by driving company truck on assigned route Document, record, and complete driver log when making deliveries Pick and assemble orders as indicated on the pick listConfirm accurate item delivery with customer and obtain customer signature on Sales OrderReceive customer payments at time of delivery, ensuring correct amounts received Stack and organize warehouse palletsDocuments and completes driver logs accurately documenting returns and customer notes when making deliveries Assist receiving with unloading, stocking, and inventory check in a timely manner Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and inventory Coordinate with salespersons to assemble urgent deliveries to customers Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service Maintain and safely navigate the Company vehicle as per the Company Vehicle Policy Participate in the weekly warehouse meetings Attend Company events and functions outside of normal working hours Other duties as required from manager Obligation to answer to all management as requestedPhysical Requirements Able to drive for a majority of the daily working hours Able to stand for extended periods of timeAble to travel within or outside of Illinois as needed. Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Working Conditionso Noise Level: Loud while indoorsOther Requirements Basic level English - Read/write/speak/listen Maintains a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and afterhours as needed Maintain a positive attitude Ability to work independently and as a team Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload High school Diploma required; AA and above strongly preferred. Experience in food industry, preferably in Japanese food industry is plusExperience in Japanese restaurant business is a plus.Knowledge and Skills Basic mathematical knowledge - combining/converting measurements, counting inventory, weight, etc. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Has strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of ERP systems, especially Microsoft NAV, highly preferred. Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors strongly preferred.
