Custodial Worker

Roxbury Central School has the following vacancies: Custodial Worker Full Time Custodial Worker position, 12 months, day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, CSEA non-competitive position with contractual salary at a rate of $17.69/hour and benefits as per the CSEA contract. We are looking for a reliable Custodial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety in our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and replenishing supplies. The Custodial Worker must adhere to health and safety regulations and use cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly. Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
