External Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The BOM Specialist is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining all bills of material. This is a highly important and detail-oriented role that requires the ability to think critically, and problem solve through cross-functional collaboration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES :

Audit product to ensure BOM accuracy

Create new part assemblies based on Engineering direction

Engage in construction of BOMs derived by cross functional communication with internal and external teams

Participate in BOM support for design and engineering

Perform special cost analysis, prepare reports and other related duties assigned

Provide direction and support to internal departments based on BOM requirements

Provide custom boat costing information to the Inside Sales team based on custom boat drawings provided by Engineering

Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Marketing to ensure BOM has the correct structure, components, and quantities in Syteline

Requirements

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE

HS Diploma or equivalent required

Must be knowledgeable and experienced with ERP systems, Syteline preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office including strong Excel ability

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required

Excellent attention to detail

Demonstrate ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Exceptional communication skills

Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in a fast-paced environment

Maintain a detail-oriented workspace and possess multi-tasking abilities.
