Summary:

In collaboration with Department Managers and Team Leaders, create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents. Coordinate, develop, track and report on associate training programs. Compile, analyze and report on associate performance metrics. Design, develop, and maintain Labor Management, Safety, and Training Databases to track and report on a variety of associate performance metrics.

Requirements:
  • Design, develop and maintain database(s) to track associate performance at the task level. Extract data from various systems (ADP, MAWM, Labor Management, Qlik, Cognos) and enter data into database. Create queries and reports within database to identify performance metrics to be used by management to improve task performance. Notify management of any data discrepancies.
  • Design, develop and maintain database(s) to track associate training/certification requirements. Develop training materials, in collaboration with Team Leaders, to include SOPs and JSAs. Ensure all SOP's are documented, updated as required and available to associates. Coordinate required training/certification with Team Leaders and document completion within the database. Use reports to track progress against required training/certification and communicate metrics.
  • Support and facilitate other in-house training programs as assigned to include but not limited to: Material Handling Equipment (MHE); Train the Trainer; Job Safety Analysis (JSA); Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS); Change Notice Management.
  • Other duties assigned related to the administrative functions of the Distribution Center by the DC Leadership team. Assist Project Teams with meeting facilitation services to capture solution development ideas and help project management generate draft process flows
  • Program support within Lakeville/Fairhaven departments upon request.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Training Assistant or administrative assistant. Experience designing, developing and maintaining databases required. Previous experience working in a Distribution environment preferred. Experience as a key member of safety programs is preferred.

Physical Requirements/Environmental Factors: Position will require time spent in the Warehouse, to include standing for extended periods of time.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Must have Train the Trainer certification. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel and Word. Experience using web based applications. Must have proven leadership skills, demonstrated dependability and a strong work ethic. Previous experience with LMS system preferred. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must work well with various internal departments. Bilingual preferred.
