3Ci is looking for a Data and Wireless Network Engineer.

This contract position holds primary responsibility for equipment lifecycle management, documentation, and technical support for wired data and wireless network infrastructure within our Client's company and associated subsidiaries. The role involves engineering project implementation, day-to-day operations, and troubleshooting for Cisco data communications equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless LAN technologies.

Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field3 - 5 years of experience in Enterprise Data Networking and Enterprise Wireless NetworkingCCNP level knowledge in networking theory is expected; certification is a plusGeneral Requirements

Strong knowledge of Cisco wired and wireless LAN network infrastructure technologiesConfiguration, troubleshooting, and administration of Cisco Catalyst switches 9K and routers (ISR 4K, Catalyst 8K)Configuration and deployment of Cisco wireless controllers, access points, and integration with AAA systemsProficiency in network and dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, QoS, Multicast, CAPWAP, etc.)Ability to analyze interrelationships between network, server, storage, and application problems and develop appropriate solutionsExperience coordinating with field technicians for network installations and issue resolutionAvailability for rotating after-hours on-call supportAbility to handle multiple assignments and conflicting prioritiesStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build relationships and collaborate with peers, customers, contractors, and vendorsOwnership of work assignments and personal developmentEssential Functions

Implement engineering projects and manage day-to-day operations for network infrastructure, including Cisco data communications equipmentApply strong knowledge of data communications principles, architectures, and protocols to implement efficient network configurationsCollaborate with TO Security and Field Operations Technicians to ensure proper implementation and configuration of new technologiesDevelop and comply with engineering standards, including documentation and product lifecycle plansProvide support to local Operating Companies on network planning, engineering design, and consultingPerform end-to-end troubleshooting for data and wireless LAN networksPerform other tasks as required
