The Tool & Die Apprentice will plan, layout, and perform all bench and machine operations to build, service, repair, and maintain the tools, dies and fixtures throughout the facility fixtures per the instruction and guidance of the Journeymen while maintaining Lozier's quality and safety standards. The individual will rebuild dies and fixtures. Operation of a variety of hand and powered tools including, but not limited to, surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, belt sanders, saws, hoists, clamps, and measuring tools is necessary for this position. Forklift operation may also be required. Appropriate personal protective equipment must also be worn for this position.
