**RN - Team Leader - Acute Care Services - Clinical Resource Team**

This RN Team Leader is responsible providing leadership to the front-line staff in collaboration with the Clinical Manager. Serves as a conduit between the front-line nursing employees and manager for the purpose of facilitating communication, overseeing orientation of new team members in collaboration with the Clinical Educator, and evaluating clinical practice with a particular focus on quality and performance improvement.

**Some Highlighted Responsibilities:**

* This position will provide people leadership which may include providing input for employment decisions and participating in performance reviews.

* You will balance staff schedules and monitor trends with attendance

* Conduct Leadership rounding with patient families and staff

* Monitor key metrics and analyze information for process improvement

* The Team Leader, Nursing will spend 60% of their time in clinical shifts and 40% of their time in administrative/leadership, recognizing that at least 10% of their time in the clinical shifts is still spent coaching, mentoring, and developing staff.

**Qualifications:**

* Experience: Three years RN experience. Previous leadership experience is preferred.

* Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing

* License: Texas RN license

* Certification: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS and PALS.
