Summary of job requirements

Communication:

  • Newsletter Management:
    • Create and distribute newsletters or email campaigns to keep the community informed.
    • Pull updated reports to create address labels and ensure stamp count.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Manage social media platforms, engage with followers, and create content.
  • Create Educational Content:
    • Develop informative materials like brochures, articles, or videos.
Administrative Tasks:
  • Manage Contact Database:
    • Update and manage a database of community contacts and stakeholders.
  • Event Ticket Management:
    • Utilize tools like QGive, DonorPerfect, RunSignUp, and Perfect Golf.
  • Schedule Meetings:
    • Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Budget Tracking:
    • Monitor budgets for community engagement activities.
  • Asset Management:
    • Organize and manage digital assets like images, videos, and templates.
Editing and Optimization:
  • Content Editing:
    • Proofread and edit content for grammar, tone, and style consistency.
  • SEO Optimization:
    • Optimize content with relevant keywords, metadata, and internal/external links.
  • A/B Testing:
    • Conduct A/B tests on headlines, visuals, and CTAs to improve performance.
  • Repurposing Content:
    • Repurpose existing content into different formats like infographics or videos.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Content Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor content performance using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or social media insights.
    • Audience Engagement:
    • Track engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments) and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Reporting:
    • Create reports summarizing content performance and make data-driven recommendations.
Fundraising Campaigns:
  • Help plan and implement fundraising campaigns.
  • Create marketing materials.
  • Coordinate logistics.
  • Track campaign progress.
Distribution and Marketing:
  • Invitation Distribution:
    • Send invitations via email, social media, or print distribution.
  • Document Sharing:
    • Share documents via email, website, or document-sharing platforms.
  • Event Landing Page:
    • Create an event landing page with an embedded invitation and RSVP form.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL PDI POSITIONS

You must be age 21 or over to work at PDI. You must also pass a pre-hire drug and background screen as well as random drug screens that may occur at any time and without notice while employed by PDI. You must be computer-literate, comfortable with technology with well-developed oral and written communication skills.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate's Degree ("A.A.") or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICS ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an employee must know Microsoft Office and Microsoft Publisher software, Microsoft Outlook and be able to gain knowledge of various vendor software solutions.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
