Title: Platform Architect
Location: Omaha, NE (5 Days Onsite)
Job Description:
Technical Skills:
10-15 Years Hands-on Architecture expertise in Cloud, Modernization, Platformization , DataOps (data management, analytics, data governance) use cases, technologies, and solutions
Experience working with modern data management practices (e.g. ETL, governance, stewardship, master data management, data catalog, data lineage, data warehousing, data modelling, data lake, data vault, data mesh, analytics, dashboarding & reporting)
Experience working with ETL/data integration frameworks (e.g., Pentaho, Talend, Informatica, SSIS/ADF, Apache Airflow)
Cloud Services, deployments and management (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
Hands on Container deployment and management (e.g., Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of legacy technology mainframe Cobol, VB, Java and exposure to modern engineering design patterns and composable architecture principles.
Experience as a development lead in an Agile environment
First-class communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
Must have experience building platform foundations, multi-level CI/CD pipelines, Observability, Reliability Engineering models, FinOps, ITOPs, DevSecOps.
Strong knowledge on tooling and platform development
Technical sales and revenue process experience
Experience working within a revenue organization and overall sales process
Knowledge of software and technical sales process
Experience w/ design thinking and solutioning
Subject and domain expertise in a particular vertical (Banking and Financial Services (BFD) to start)
Knowledge of current regulatory and compliance policies and practices
Familiarity of organizational structures common to the BFS
Knowledge of the various functions common to financial organizations
Knowledge of the organizational and technological challenges in the BFS domain

Qualifications
  • Must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology consulting.
  • Experienced technology leader in architecting, designing, and implementing modern banking platforms.
  • Experience of delivering at least two platform ecosystems in production for More-than 2 to 3 year
  • Experience in designing low-latency solutions in a Kubernetes environment (preferably OpenShift)

  • Broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, DevSecOps, databases, application development, observability) and deep in infrastructure & DevSecOps
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure such as Azure (Experience of Azure services such as Azure functions, Azure events, Azure app service)
  • Experience in Database languages such as SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLServer) and Mongo (Yugabyte experience will be a bonus)
  • You know how to design technical solutions using Java, APIs, SaaS technologies, and integration technologies.
  • Experience designing reusable patterns and components and drive adoption by creating marketplaces to help facilitate reuse & developer productivity (Leveraging Internal Developer Platform such as Backstage / Tanzu Application platform for the marketplace)
  • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines leveraging solutions like Jenkins, Harness, Azure DevOPs.
  • Good exposure to Auth, Security patterns and Infrastructure as Code to be implemented as part of these pipelines.
  • Experience working with more than one of the following: Java, Relational/NoSQL/Graph DB, Cloud using PCF/Azure/AWS stack
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON and HTTP stack
  • Love working in a dynamic environment where ambiguity is common...and can effectively speak to both technical and non-technical parties
  • 5+ years of cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure experience , applications design and implementation.
