Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Controls Engineer, where you will engage with overhead cranes/hoists in our Nuclear Equipment and Services business. This role involves creating schematics with CAD, generating Bills of Material, creating new assemblies/part drawings, programming PLCs & HMIs, performing field startup & test, working with 480VAC, tuning and commissioning motors using VFDs, creating loading calculations, sizing wiring, and laying out conduit and wire routing schedules. Additionally, you will travel to customer sites, collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines, work with purchasing to spec parts, and guide manufacturing in wiring assemblies. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Supervisor and consists of approximately 80% office work and 20% field work.
