Our Hardware Engineer, Intern

Will work on the design, development, and testing of our electric vehicle charging hardware.

Responsibilities:

Assist with designing and developing electric vehicle charging hardware, including circuit design, PCB layout, and prototyping.

Conduct hardware testing and troubleshooting to ensure product quality and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that hardware meets product requirements and customer needs.

Assist with developing hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and assembly instructions.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in electric vehicle charging and hardware design.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate student standing.

Strong understanding of circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware testing.

Experience with CAD software for circuit design and PCB layout.

Experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Passion for electric vehicles and sustainable transportation.

Job Title and Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $25.00 and $35.00

Actual hourly rate are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.

This is an entry-level internship position, and no prior professional experience is required. However, candidates with previous hardware experience or related coursework will be given preference.
