BASIC FUNCTION:

Transports material or other goods in such a way as to allow the continuous flow of products throughout the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* Reviews assembly build requirements.

* Picks and stages parts for delivery to the production areas in such a manner that ensures that the correct quantity of the part is delivered to the correct place.

* Delivers material from the warehouse to the production areas and vice versa.

* Provides support to the decant areas.

* Drives forklift or operates other power equipment to transport a variety of materials, parts, or products.

* Use SAP to put away parts and to pick them from warehouse locations.

* Notifies supervisor regarding inventory shortages/discrepancies.

* Stacks materials in designated area.

* Understands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies.

* Communicate and enforce safe work procedures.

* Identify and close safety issues (suggestions, inspection and investigation findings) and their corrective actions.

* Understands and adheres to current quality and control policies.

* Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Completion of high school or equivalent.

* Licensed to operate forklift.

* Must have previous experience in a warehouse environment.

* Minimum of two years of related experience supporting manufacturing operations.

* Must be computer literate and have the ability to perform basic MS Windows / SAP operating tasks.

* Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules, and regulations.

* Attendance on the job is essential.
