Position Type: Full-Time - Elementary School

Duration: Entire School Year

Non-Negotiable Requirement: Active PEL Endorsed in Social Work

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive social work services to students within the district.
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address students' social and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and external agencies to support student well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered plans.
  • Uphold ethical standards and legal guidelines in social work practice.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed in Social Work in Illinois required
  • Illinois Social Work license required
  • Experience in a school setting or working with student populations is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
