POSITION SUMMARY:

Processes and originates consumer loans for approval or denial within assigned lender authority. This will include all consumer loans except where real estate is involved.

DUTIES:

1. Process consumer loan applications referred by other offices, on-line applications and initiated by you

2. Pulling credit reports

3. Calculation of debt ratios

4. Underwriting loans for approval or denial

5. Preparing loan documents for closing

6. Closing consumer loans

7. Assist with collection of past due consumer and mortgage loans as needed

8. Complete denials in a timely manner

9. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Reports to VP of Consumer Lending for the fulfillment of duties assigned

2. Strong working knowledge of the bank's lending policies, procedures and documentation requirements

3. Must be able to deal tactfully and efficiently with bank customers in handling problems of a relatively complex nature
