**Position Description:**

We are seeking a charismatic, fun and motivated individual that is able to start right away, to be a part of our kitchen team We're hiring a full-time/part time cooks that have a passion for cooking. Our cooks over see the kitchen staff, while on shift, to provide the best service for both residents in the preparation and serving of meals.

Starting wage $15

**Weekends and swing shifts available but will have a set schedule.**

**Will split holidays with rest of Cook crew.**

**Position Responsibilities:**

Cook prepares home-style meals that are served within a restaurant style setting. Meal preparation is completed according to menus and recipes with consideration for dietary and/or portion restrictions. Assist in keeping kitchen area clean and meeting all state health regulations. Interact with residents and other departments to maintain meal satisfaction. Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or required.

**Position Qualifications:**

Must be 18 yrs. old. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., Must have current Food Handler Permit. Must be able to pass background screen and drug testing. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must attend in-service and continuing education programs. Some cooking experience with large groups is preferred but not necessary.
