To deliver our best performing, most trusted, and respected ambition for North America Supply, we author and deliver programs across NAM and Global supply chains that:
  • Possess a passion for unearthing hidden gems within data and transforming them into strategic solutions
  • Streamline operations and leverage data-driven strategies to elevate business performance
  • Enable end-to-end integration of supply operations between newly acquired brands and Diageo's existing supply network
  • Unlock global NSV and margin expansion
  • Generate actionable insights through data and analytics
  • Build fit-for-purpose supply growth strategies for DV Accelerator brands
  • Build value through robust, data-driven reasons that align with NAM's long-term business strategy
Role Details and Key Accountabilities:

In this dynamic role, you'll bridge the gap between supply chain expertise and data analytics, becoming a crucial driver of informed decision-making across the organization. You'll seamlessly switch between two key areas:

Analysts are expected to:

Unmasking Supply Chain Insights:
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of existing supply chains, meticulously examining procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.

  • Collaborate closely with supply chain experts to grasp their unique needs, objectives, and constraints.
  • Develop and implement customized supply chain strategies and solutions, potentially utilizing data analysis techniques and technologies.
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends and innovations in supply chain management.
Crafting Data-Driven Narratives:
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated queries to extract and transform data from diverse sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs).
  • Use data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to build clear, concise, and interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide insightful recommendations and support to stakeholders based on the value gleaned from data analysis.
  • Remain current with industry best practices and emerging BI and data analysis technologies.
  • Ensure clarity and accessibility of data sources, reports, and dashboards through meticulous documentation and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Credentials (BA or BS degree) in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in either supply chain analysis, business intelligence, or a combination of both.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Proficiency in Power Query, Python, or other data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., R, MATLAB).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • A solid grasp of supply chain management principles and practices is essential.
  • A thirst for knowledge and the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
