POSITION: Supplier Manager/Vendor Relationship Manager

JOB TYPE: W2, 4 month contract; possible extension

JOB SUMMARY FOR SUPPLIER MANAGER/VENDOR RELATIONSHIP MANAGER:

We are seeking a Supplier Manager/Vendor Relationship Manager to join our leading client's team. Pay Range: $95- $105/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SUPPLIER MANAGER/VENDOR RELATIONSHIP MANAGER:

Manage vendor relevant processes from end-to-end, negotiating pricing and KPIs, organizing responses, presenting recommendations to executives, securing approvals, monitoring contractual obligations and milestones and ensuring SLAs are being met. Governance: Implement and maintain vendor governance models- such as holding monthly vendor governance meetings and quarterly executive committee meetings with vendor leaders; Handling and tracking weekly vendor escalations and issues; Gathering data, including feedback on performance, and preparing reporting for governance meetings; Identify and mitigate risk from a delivery standpoint and ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures; Support compliance management with local regulations and global outsourcing policies; and Working with VMO and Finance to negotiate credits and earn backs when SLAs are not met. Vendor Performance Management: Developing metrics and scorecards to measure vendor performance, developing improvements plans and reporting on progress, and identifying opportunities to create more meaningful SLAs and performance metrics; Execute changes and/or additions to contract documents (such as SOWs) and managing the approval process for new SOWs, ensuring line-of-sight to budget and securing available funding; and Maintain information on current book of work with the vendor, list of resources and what they are working on, and vendor capacity plans. Contract Lifecycle Management: Maintain source of truth on contract terms, renewal calendar, and engaging GSSS with enough lead time prior to contract renewals to assess vendor financial and commercial risks and competitor landscape to ensure alternative options are considered; Formalize and document vendor RFI and RFP procedures and artifacts with the help of GSS; and Execute contractual changes with appropriate engagement from executive / key stakeholders and provide thought-leadership into potential consolidation, cost reduction, or other improvements to contract terms. Serve as Central Coordination Point for Vendors on the VMO Critical Partners List, participating in VMO Supplier Forums as the Voice of the US Market, monthly committee forums (MCFs), quarterly executive committee forums (ECFs), collecting issues and feedback from US Tech stakeholders as input into VMO governance forums

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SUPPLIER MANAGER/VENDOR RELATIONSHIP MANAGER:

Bachelor's Degree Proven experience in supplier management or vendor relationship management. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Familiarity with governance models and compliance management. Experience in developing and implementing performance metrics. Proficiency in contract lifecycle management.
