Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, including production costs, and reserve estimates. Variance Analysis:

Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers of variances and providing insights to management. Assist in the development of financial models and forecasts to support decision-making processes. Fixed Asset Accounting:

Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and impairment testing. Maintain accurate records of property, plant, and equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Internal Controls:

Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures. Ad Hoc Analysis:

Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to management as needed. Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance financial reporting capabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in the oil and gas industry. Strong understanding of GAAP, and industry-specific accounting principles (e.g., successful efforts accounting, full cost accounting). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
