Our client, in the Aerospace industry is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering and experience in 3D and 2D Mechanical Design and related analysis specifically for flight critical avionics systems which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Mechanical Engineer VLocation: Seattle, WA Pay Range: $65.00-$75.00 Hourly (1-Year Contract)What's the Job?•Looking for an outstanding Mechanical Engineer Drafter who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.•This person will be responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical design and related analysis specifically for flight critical avionics systems.•The ideal candidate will have a foundation in mechanical engineering suited for both prototype and production level designs.What's Needed?•BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.•Knowledge of MCAD software 3D modeling and 2D drafting•Experience designing mechanical assemblies for electronics•Experience with rapid prototype and production tooling•Experience with SchematicsWhat's is Preferred?•Dassault 3DExperience Enovia for PLM•Dassault 3DExperience Catia for 3D modeling and 2D drafting•Thermal simulation analysis using ANSYS IcePak and/or Siemns Star CCM•Mechanical stack-up analysis•Structural load analysisIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
