Use proper chemicals according to Facility Cleaning procedures. Ensure that caution/safety signs are set up PRIOR to performing such dutiesCleaning baseboards in resident rooms and common areas, ensuring a clean, pleasant environment for residents, visitors and staffReporting any burnt out lights including exit lights, room lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights etc. to your supervisor for repair or replacementDisposing of trash in assigned receptacles and reline with new liners. Clean as needed inside and out. Report any damage to your supervisor for repair or replacementMaintaining and cleaning equipment including all vacuums, buffers, extractors, floor fans on a regular basis through a maintenance program. Report any needed repairs to your supervisor. (cords, electrical issues, switches, etc.)Wearing proper PPE while handling chemicals while following proper and safe work practices and proceduresEducationHigh School diploma or equivalent required.ExperienceExperience in the Healthcare Industry a plus.
