The Role

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate who will overall responsibility of our Dealer-to-Dealer business, reporting into the Global Head of Trading Solutions.

* Responsibility for developing a strategic business plan and revenue targets * Product development and business strategy * Consistent dialogue with sell-side clients to agree and evolve the strategy * Identification of external assets that can help to progress the strategy

How You'll Help Take Us There

* Responsible for developing a strategic 3-5-year business plan, revenue targets and overall P&L of the MarketAxess Dealer to Dealer business * Develop high quality business strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives * Build a close partnership with technology scrum teams that support the business to ensure delivery of product changes against an agreed roadmap * Develop quarterly business plans with the input of management * Lead and develop a high-performing team * Identify and prioritize new products for the Dealer-to-Dealer population * Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements * Build trusted relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important stakeholders * Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry * Represent MarketAxess externally on panels, at conferences and in white papers

What We're Looking for

* 10+ years' experience working U.S. credit trading or D2D business development * 4+ years' of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related field * Proven track record of building businesses, driving results and owning a P&L * Deep understanding of the Dealer-to-Dealer competitive landscape and electronic trading protocols * Strong dealer relationship building skills to grow revenue and market share * Experience in running Dealer-to-Dealer teams, demonstrable evidence of developing and delivering against a strategic roadmap * Ability to work across cross functions and product lines in a collaborative work environment * Motivated by changing the behavior in global bond markets and must be able to articulate a vision for electronic trading * Experience with user research, data analysis and customer feedback methods * Self-motivated and quick to respond to business challenges * Strong communicator with excellent client facing ability * Strong problem-solving capabilities * Resilient, optimistic and a change agent - doesn't accept the status quo

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $250,000 USD to $300,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
