Job Title: Phlebotomist II

Location: Bear Lake, MI 49614

Duration: 3+ months with full possibility of extension

Shift: Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm - 1st Shift

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferred: Medical Assistant or Paramedic training
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing, following established practices and procedures.
  • Maintain direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures.
  • Ensure accurate verification of patient demographic information and labeling of samples.
  • Maintain required records and documentation, demonstrating organizational commitment.
  • Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
  • Uphold a safe and professional environment under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors and focus on process excellence and confidentiality.
