Receiving Clerk Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Inspecting Deliveries: Receive incoming shipments of goods, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality. Inspect deliveries for damages and discrepancies, promptly reporting any issues to the appropriate department. Verify received items against purchase orders and packing slips, resolving discrepancies as needed. Storage and Organization: Properly store goods in designated warehouse locations, adhering to inventory management procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and warehouse environment, including regular inventory counts and stock rotation. Implement efficient shelving and storage solutions to maximize space utilization. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to avoid stockouts and ensure timely availability of goods. Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records, investigating any discrepancies. Ensure storerooms are secured when unattended. Follow current property SOP for entry into product storerooms. Qualifications: Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting. Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects safely. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
